Writer: Only Default Style is in the Headers list after creating a new style

Writer 4.2.1, English on XP SP3
I am trying to follow the instructions at Creating a Page Style Based on the Current Page - LibreOffice Help. Either I don’t understand them, or something is wrong. Specifically, I expected to see the new style in the list of the available headers in step 5. But only the Default Style was in the list. Did I do something wrong? How can I convince you, and myself, that I did exactly what I was supposed to do?

@u9023 - You found a little bug. The new style name appears only after clicking one of the other style groups and clicking back to page styles.

May I ask you to please file a bug report and post the bug number here that other can contribute.

I used LibO 4.1.5.3 on XP Pro/SP3 for my test. For my test I follow the procedure for which you posted the link in your question.

What are style groups? Where do you click them? Can you be as accurate as possible about what exactly have you clicked on? As for filling a bug report, perhaps this report will be useful after all? I didn’t update it with the information in your answer because I do not know how to reproduce what you have done

This is another question of mine that also relates to the same help instructions.

Eventually I followed rost52 suggestion from above, and reopened the previous report.

The discussion in the bug report has the right answer.
