Safe Mode is basically a test to see if the LibreOffice user profile is intact or broken.
If you detect a problem in LibreOffice, you can use Safe Mode. If the problem does not exist anymore, you should reset your user profile.

If it works fine in safe mode and not with the standard launch, then reset your LibreOffice user profile (rename it).
