Writer won't capitalize any sentence following a sentence ending with the word "consciousness."

There are no other weird things in the sentence. Just any ordinary sentence ending with the word consciousness. The next sentence will not be capitalized.

Not with me (version 7.0.6.2). Can you repeat this in a new document?

I can’t reproduce that in a simple document. Totally weird. Make sure that you haven’t added the word consciousness to some autocorrect list or an exceptions list that somehow suppresses the autocorrect stepping in to capitalize the first word of the next sentence.

Thanks, but I wouldn’t know how to do that. Maybe it’s a comment from the universe on my lack of awareness. No new beginnings for me.

Well for goodness sake, I went to autocorrect exceptions and there it was.I have no idea how I managed to do that. I have never consciously used that tool.
Thank you so much. It’s working just fine now.

I am using 7.0.5.2

Do me mean repeat my question in a new document?

Or are you asking if this happens in different documents? It happens in all my documents.
I do a lot of metaphysical studies and many sentences end in the word consciousness.
Writer refuses to capitalize the following sentence.
That doesn’t happen with any other words.
