I can’t set the margin spacing nor the font type or size. I’ve tried reset apply and OK but every new writer document I open goes back to the toolbar and having to move the slider. Please what am I doing wrong and how can I correct it to have a document page I open for everyday note-taking i.e, not a letter Template. I tried saving the one I wanted in “Templates” but that doesn’t seem recoverable. I know it must be simple but I’ve spent 5hours trying everything to no avail
You have to make a template that has all the settings that you want for font size, margins, etc., then you have to set it as the default template. See Tutorial On Creating a new default template.
