Every time I type anyhing in a cell in a spreadsheet, LibreOffice puts a red border around that cell and attaches a comment to it. How do I get rid of this “feature”?
Type “red border” in the Search or ask your question field (just above the title of your question), and see one of the many results.

This was helpful. I don’t think I enabled “Track changes” to my sheet, so I do not know how I got red boxes on cells in which I entered or changed data. Thanks too, that I did not have to join “X” just to get this answered. Cheers!
You have Track changes turned on. Click Edit - Track changes - Record to turn it off. You will then need to go back to sane menu and accept all changes
