[feature request] Impress: Add a simple Hide Slide -button in slide sorter

Often when working on presentations, it would be really practical to be able to hide slides with just one click. Currently one has to select the slide, right-click, select “hide slide”, and then move to next one. When one has to hide several slides in a long presentation, this is unnecessary, and would be nice to be able to do it just with one simple click.

Best would be to add a simple visual button in the slide sorter view next to each slide, where one can hide and un-hide the slide.

You can select multiple slides in slide sorter with ctrl / shift (or using arrow keys and ctrl+space)… and then hide just once. Also there was already such a button in the past, but people accidentally hide the slides so it was removed.

Thanks for the solution. And yes, I thought I remember having used such button, but was not sure and thought that I might have remembered having seen it on somebody else’s Powerpoint or the like.
