Problem with Impress

Hello!

I was customizing the toolbar in Impress (v.4.2.2, English, Windows 8.1) when I inadvertently hit a wrong key. I was bounced out of Impress as it tried to recover the document ‘Untitled 1’. Impress indicated that the recovery was successful. However, when I tried to access Impress, it bounced me back out to recovery. I have now uninstalled v.4.2.2 and have installed v.4.2.4.2, but I am experiencing the same issue–I cannot access Impress. I must also mention that I just started using LibreOffice six days ago, so I am still learning it.

You could cancel the recovery and very likely be able to open Impress again. Let us know if this works for you.

I just wanted to share with you that my Impress appears to be working now. The answer (which just occurred to me) was to simply reset my toolbar to its default state.
