Error message: "LibreOffice unexpectedly quit..." - Can I get my docs?

When I attempt to open a Libre document, I receive error message that the application “LibreOffice unexpectedly quit while trying to restore its windows.”

Nothing happens when I click on restore windows. Is there any way to get my docs?

I have LibreOffice 3 and a Mac OSX 10.7.5

Please update to a current version:

“Stable”: LibreOffice 4.1.6,

“Fresh”: LibreOffice 4.2.4.
