Problem loading a LibreOffice 3 presentation with recent installation (4.1.6, 4.2.5)

Recently I try to open a LO presentation (400 slides, 2.2Mb) and LibreOffice fails. It starts to load then the window disapear. First I thought my document was corupted but after making some experiments I think that my document is correct:

1. MS Office 2013 loads the document even if the presentation is not wonderful.
2. On my old PC using LO 3.4.3 all it’s ok.

Is it a known compatibility issue between LO3 and LO4 ?

What can I do to use this document with LO 4.2.5 ?

Where can I found the LO logs to have an idea about the error ?

Thank for the information but it seems slightly complicated :-(, installing Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 4, etc. I was hoping it was possible to activate simply a mode where LO produced some information about its crashes: when I load my document with LO4 the software start to load then the window disapear without any message :-(.

@freyssin, effectively you are simply activating a mode, it is just that the mode requires a suite of debugging tools. It is the same for all platforms, although less involved under GNU/Linux.
