I am creating a PDF form in Writer. Editable fields are working very well. I also would like users to be able to change an image. Is there a form control for this? The form is a flyer and the image will be important to the final version of the flyer and I cannot predict which image the user would like to use.

Do you really need a PDF? Using a Writer form document you can achieve this with an “Image control”. When the user right click it, he can change the image. Find the Image control in View > Toolbars > Form Controls > More Controls. But I get this control not to work in a pdf.
not a bad solution, if I am sure that all other users are also using OfficeLibre. I am pretty sure they will not and am wary about losing formatting if it is opened in Word.
