In Excel, when a chart is selected, particularly, the trace within the chart, when selected, the highlighted data-set is also highlighted. LibreOffice does the same thing, but…in Excel, if I wish to change the chart data range, I can do this by selecting the anchors of the highlighted column(s) and moving the anchor to another column(s). Calc does not allow you to do this, but it sure would be nice if it could

@bencomp - you are absolutely right in the strict meaning of the words. We ave so many questions in this forum being counted as “not answered” just because an excellent answer was done in a comment. I wonder since a while how we can have statics reflecting the reality. The only possibility I see so far is the every kind of answer should be published as an answer. Maybe it would be better to discuss this in a different question. Feel free to initiate such a thread. I also will contribute and hope we get more comments
