LibreOffice pastes text as an image

This problem seems to have just popped up out of the blue, as I am sure I could paste text before…

When I paste text from a different word processor into LibreOffice Writer it gets posted as an image file instead of text.

For example, if I copy a line of text from Microsoft WordPad like so…

… it gets pasted as a picture into LibreOffice like this.

Anyone know what is going on here?

Same here. Noticed yesterday (2014-07-31). Was using StarOffice, OpenOffice.org, and LibreOffice for years.

Try with paste special, Menu/edit/paste special, selecting a text option to paste.

You can choose to paste with or without the format, this is a test pasting from Wordpad (Win7).
