How do I tell Calc not to print the background colour of cells?

I have a spreadsheet with colour-coded cells (some cells have a background colour).

I want these colours to show on screen but not print. I cannot find this option anywhere.

I have an HP Laserjet P1002.

Operating System: Ubuntu 14.04.
