Black Slide show has a white line on the right side

I’m making a slide show with a black background, which I achieved by changing the page background to black on all slides. When I play the slide show, there’s a thin white line on the right side. I’ve exported as pdf to see each image and it’s definitely there on each slide. I’ve also saved as .ppt and .pptx just in case there was something strange going on with the .odp format. The white line is still present. Any ideas?

FYI I’m using Version: 4.2.5.2 on a Mac, OS 10.7.5

I can confirm, that a white line exists. But for me it is on the left side. I guess that the reason is, that internally integers are used with unit 1/100mm and lot of conversions between units. Therefore 1 pixel rounding errors might appear.

To workaround the problem, you can use a rectangle as background object of the master slide, which is slightly larger than the slide and has negative x,y-position.

I think the issue should be reported as a bug as a plain colour selection for a background should not be behaving in this manner. Bug fdo#55134 may be related, although it is for setting an SVG as a background rather than a colour selection.
