I have a 30Mbps cable modem and MacBook with 2.4GHz Inte Core2 Duo
There are a lot of mirrors offering the dmg as standard download: http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/3.5.5/mac/x86/LibO_3.5.5_MacOS_x86_install_en-US.dmg.mirrorlist Does one of these work?
Do you have to use torrent? I have much slower internet access (2 Mbit/s) and never had a problem to download directly from www.libreoffice.org. What I want to say is, there are other options for downloading LibreOffice
