Libreoffice 3.5.5 Writer Help->About hangs the main application by not opening the About dialog box

I have just updated LO to 3.5.5 and I was testing the Writer app.

I wanted to verify the version, so I went Help-> About and I did not see the expected dialog box showing the application information.

Results:-
The main write application is then hung and not responding any mouse actions. I guess that it opended modal dialog box, that is expecting to be closed prior to the Writer continuing.

I have checked for another window but it does not appear.

I have to kill all LO processes before I can use Writer.

Additional information:- I have tested the Help → YYY, where YYY = “License Information”, “Credits”, “License Information” and “What’s This ?” and I see their pop-up windows, but not for the “About” I have also tested the “Help → About” in the Spreadsheet and I get the same issue

Dear all,

I have resolved the issue !!

My machine was configured for dual screens at work, but I did not disconnect the 2nd screen definition while away from the office - I have retested the Help–> About and the “About” dialog box appears on the 2nd screen this morning …

So, no alarm

Dear all,

I have resolved the issue !!

My machine was configured for dual screens at work, but I did not disconnect the 2nd screen definition while away from the office - I have retested the Help–> About and the “About” dialog box appears on the 2nd screen this morning … which was not visible on the main screen.

Main LibreOffice documents and other dialog boxes appear on main screen, while the “About” dialog box appears on the secondary screen.

Sorry about the alarm.

So, no alarm now.
