I am using Windows OS 8.1 with Thunderbird as my email client. I would like to use the database I created in LibreOffice to import those files into the Thunderbird contact list. Does anyone know how to do this?

I did it with my old PalmOS database. It is a bit messy but it works.

1) Create a dummy Adressbook in TB and export it as a .CSV to see the fields.

2) Try to order your base fields the same way TB has it, or export as .CSV and organize them in CALC.

3) this .CSV file can now be imported into TB. You still have to adjust and sync the field names.

TB does not export/import all of its fields what you will see in step 1).

Good luck and have fun with it.
