Bar <x> not displaying correctly

Using LO 4.2.5.2 on elementary OS (Ubuntu 12.04, Swedish language) and tried the following formula from within Writer:

[hat %beta%_1 = bar Y - hat %beta%_2 bar X]

and the “line over”-function (represented by “bar Y/X”) only gives a square back above the letter instead of a bar.

Other functions seems to be working fine. Have tried a few different fonts but no luck. Any ideas?

thanks! just tried updating to 4.3.3.2 and apparently it’s been fixed in this build, the same code is now displaying correctly (without installing the font package recommended in the thread).
