Is there a way to move customizations from one machine to another? I’m talking about toolbars, menus, keys and templates.
If I recall it right I did it once successfully from one XP machine to another XP machine. However I assume it should work across platforms. You can at least give it a try.
- First look on your target machine for your user profile.
In XP it is under your username > Application Data > LibreOffice > next folder is 3 or 4 depending on your LibO version you are using; in “user” is all your personal information stored > create a backup copy by renaming the user-folder. If you don’t use XP look in LibO > Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Path there you should see where your “user” folder is located. - Copy the folder “user” from your source machine
- Paste the folder into the identified folder of your target machine
- Restart LibO on youyr target machine and have a look at the result.
If this doesn’t work please inform on your OS and what you did in detailed steps and what you got as a result for each step.
