Disable automatic close bracket/brace LibreMath

I just upgraded to the latest version, and do lots of equations. Having a programming background I am used to closing my brackets and braces, so I can understand how the auto close bracket/brace would be good for a new user.

How can I disable it, since I can type most of my equations out directly?

Thanks.

Hi, I’m planning to add an option to disable the autoclose i Preferences. This can help you? You can keep update in the bug entry n our bugzilla for more information about it: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43090

I frequently use libreoffice to prepare math presentations. Being used to type my own code for math formulas (e.g. latex) I find the automatic closing of brackets, parenthesis and braces rather impractical as it often leads to errors. I also would like to find out how to disable that feature. Currently I am using libreoffice version 4.2.8.2 on LinuxMint 17 (quiana).

Thanks so much!

User.

Has this disable function been implemented yet in the main build ? I can’t find any documentation about it nor have I found a setting that allows to disable the auto-complete in LibreOffice Math 4.4.3.2

Hooray! This is implemented in development and planned to be available in 5.1.0, according to the bug discussion at https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43090#c61
Like others here, I am looking forward to this very much.
