When I try to open LibreOffice I always get the message

LibreOffice 3.5 - Fatal Error

Die Anwendung kann nicht gestartet werden.

a file status object could not be filled

First sentence means "The application could not have been started."

The strange thing is: It is the portable version of Libreoffice, and when I try to start the very same program from another Windows-Installation on the same PC it opens fine.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

fdo#52476 has current status of RESOLVED WORKSFORME

Per @jorendc, Our best guess is that this was a user profile error.

The program cannot be started. The service manager is not available. ("InvalidRegistryExeption: file:///C:Program%20files%20(x86)/LibreOffice%203.6/program/,,/share/extentions/ pdfimport/components.rdb: duplicate <implementationname+"">")

Start setup application to repair the installation from cd or the folder containg the installation packages.

Tried installation repair but to no avail.
