Crash LO calc when copying / pasting [closed]

If I do a lot of copying / pasting in LibreOffice calc and don't deselect one selection before selecting the next, I can be pretty sure that it will crash.

I have got myself into the habit of hitting ESCape to deselect the current selection before I select the next cell I want to copy, but if I forget (like just now), it will still crash.

A search of bug reports reveals numerous copy/paste crash issues with calc, but they are usually in special circumstances (huge numbers of cells selected, some fancy data like 0Dh in the cell, etc.). But I get it just when copying and pasting a simple date or text value from a single cell into another.

Any ideas please? Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known bug? Etc.

Although you did not inform on your OS and LibO versions, as a remedy I would reset the user profile. For details see here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/U...

If this doesn't solve your problem, you need to provide all details.
