LibreOffice crashes when I create or open a spreadsheet

I can’t open the spreadsheet editor anymore.

This started happening at one point when I was low on disk space and I tried opening a corrupted (generated) sheet. Since then I have:

  • Resolved the disk space situation
  • Created a new generated sheet
  • Deleted my user profile (multiple times) on both LibreOffice and OpenOffice
  • Uninstalled and re-installed LibreOffice
  • Deleted the Saved State LibreOffice and OpenOffice folders

Now I can’t do anything useful with LibreOffice. This is killing me since I need it urgently for my workflow!

Any help GREATLY appreciated.

Solved it by turning the computer off and on again. Not kidding.

Rebooting did not work for me.

Document stays open for a second or two then just shuts down.
