How do I construct a short Writer document with master and slave text boxes?

How do I construct a short Writer document with two or more text box forms, where one is the editable master, the rest are uneditable slaves, and any changes to the master text box are immediately mirrored in the slaves?

As an example, If I have a contract, beginning with “I, \state your name in this text box, do hereby agree to…”, and references where the name should go in the text of the contract (implemented as text boxes or fields, not sure what the best approach is), when I type into this box, these automatically follow whatever text is in the master box.

I couldn’t find exactly what you are looking for but at least one solution.

Step One: Go to Menue:File>Properties under Tab “Custom Properties” you can define/Add a field e.g. “Client” as text and enter the name e.g. “John Doe III”. Click OK.

Step Two: In your document where ever you need the name insert it from the Custom Field list. Menue:Insert>Fields>Other or Ctrl+F2, under Tab-Docinformation you will find on the left side Custom with a ±sign in front, click on the + and you find your Field “Client”, click on it and click Insert-Button. The insert windows stays open so every time you need the field just click insert.

When you have to print the same document with an other client name just go to step one.

You can create more tha one field in the File properties. I hope it helps.
