Skip Footer from first pages

Here is my setup:
Version: 4.3.4.1 OSX 64 bit

I have:

page 1 - front page, page 2 - 4 table of contents, page 5 - acronyms list, page 6 - first real content

Now I want to insert a page footer with numbering (starting with page number 6) from page 6 to the end, problem is that every tutorial I tried fails.
I managed to change the page style of the first page to “first page” also for the acronyms list and the first of the table of content pages. But as the other toc pages are inserted automatically I can not change the page style somehow.
Thus these two pages have a footer.

This much more difficult then it should be. Cost me over an hour already and I’m not getting any further.

I could really need some help here.

Thanks!

I would use Styles&Formatting window (F11)

Page style tap > default style > right click > new > create the page style(s) you need

Next

Insert > Manual break > page > style > select the style you defined before; you need to repeat this for all pages with different styles. You also can make changes to the styles you defined before and all pages with that style update the same time. For doing so you must modify the style(s) you defined in the Styles&Formatting window.

Additionally I recommend to have a look at the free guides which you can download from http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/documentation/

The trick is that you can’t use “First page” style for the ToC. It works on the first page of the ToC but all other pages of the ToC will get the default style then.
It works with every other style, even a copy of “First page” style though.
So just copy the style to a new one and apply that to the ToC.
