INVALID WINDOWS INSTALLER

Hi,

I download 3 times windows installer of LibreOffice 4.2.8 (french version) and I can’t install…
Each attempt is aborted with a short message saying that the package can’t be open or invalid

My OS in win7 professional edition french

LibreOffice installed is LibreOffice Version: 4.2.6.3
Build ID: 3fd416d4c6db7d3204c17ce57a1d70f6e531ee21

Looks like you ran into a Win7 problem while using the Windows IE. The IE is causing the problem.
Under certain conditions the IE in Win7 changes the .msi-ending to .mag. You can just change the ending.

Uninstalling LO 4.0.3 in W7 without msi file

Hi. I’m trying to update LO to the last version in my W7 machine, but while the installation process, the system searchs for the installation package Libreoffice_4.0.3_Win_x86.msi file, and I don’t have it… How could I uninstall LibreOffice 4.0.3 without uninstaller, manually? Or… Where I could found this installation package? Thanks in advance, Oscar
