Would like to move AddPics 2.5 from downloads to another recommended folder

  1. Version: 4.2.7.2–Build ID: 420m0(Build:2) All
  2. HP Pavilion dv1000,2K ram
    32-bit,Linux Mint cinnamon 17 Qiana
    System: Host: bob-HP-Pavilion-dv1000-EH439UA-ABA Kernel: 3.13.0-24-generic i686 (32 bit, gcc: 4.8.2)
Desktop: Gnome Distro: Linux Mint 17 cinnamon Qiana
    Current and updated.

Downloaded AddPics to downloads folder. Like to keep downloads folder without any files-clean.

  1. If I drag and drop addpics-2.5.0.oxt to another folder (need a suggestion which folder to place it in) which folder to place this .oxt in?
This program would be running in LO base and writer.
    Please advise if:
  2. Drag and drop is ok to use?
  3. Will addpics-2.5.0.oxt function within the folder recommended?

Before the installation you can move the downloaded file to wherever you want. After the installation you even could delete the file.

“To install a user extension
Do any of the following:
Double-click the .oxt file in your system’s file browser.
On a web page, click a hyperlink to an *.oxt file (if your web browser can be configured to start the Extension Manager for this file type).
Choose Tools - Extension Manager and click Add.”
