I have tried downloading 4.3.5 from 3 or 4 mirrors… 3 different browsers. All get as far as 4.5meg and download quits with a “part” file in the download directory.
aslong you don’t provide any usefull Informations, nobody can help you nor reproduce the issue!
which Download-URLs has you tried?
what is you OS?
I cannot tell for any mirror but as I download nearly every release and many RCs / pre-releases - always simply clicking the offered controls - I can tell that this never failed accessing the original site “www.libreoffice.org”. Therefore I would guess there should be a technical problem with your OS (which one?) and/or your internet connection. Did you sucessfully download other msi-files of similar size recently? From which repositories?
Nonetheless you might try in addition: Index of /libreoffice/old/4.3.5.2
There aren’t any special controls this way.
(formerly Win XP SP3, Win 8, at the moment Win 8.1; Mozilla Firefox - different versions - 34.0 at the moment; formertly Vodafone DSL, at the moment M-Net DSL with Fritz! router with cabeled connection to the PC)
Same problem on that URL. 4.5 meg download, and then it just stops with incomplete file.
And yeah, I downloaded Open Office (about same size file) no problem. So it does not appear to be my OS or internet connection. Something between me and Libre Office appears to be interfering with download. Can’t imagine why. Have also had long downloads from other sources with no problem. This was using FF 35 on Win 7, and also WinXP sp3. Also tried with Google Chrome. … Shrug.
Tried with IE11 also. Same problem.
Thanks for suggestion … Hmm. Actually got about 8 meg before the download quit. I’ll try again later. Can’t imagine why this is the only long form download that has problems. Strange.
Feb 9/15 … Okay … I have now tried about 20 different mirrors in different countries. All give me the same result. I can download 4.5 meg & the download quits. Only the Russian mirror, so far, let me get as much as 8 meg before quitting.
Win XP sp3, and win7. Tried main url as selected when you click on update. Also mirrors in Brazil, Canada, US, and France. … As a test, just downloaded Open Office. No problem.
