I have libre office 4.2 and 4.3 installed in my system. How do i uninstall the 4.2 version and keep only the 4.3 version? . I am using Xubuntu 14.04 LTS. Please help.

Please also have a look at http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/questio... to the comment by @karolus. According to his advice it is possible to uninstall only 4.2. He also assumes that installation is made with a dep file from LibO's homepage.

Hi, if you have installed with. deb package, uninstall all version, open console and write: sudo apt-get remove libreoffice* and now add the repository launchpad of libreoffice 4.3 : https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+a... ... Now open console and: sudo apt-get update, apt-get install libreoffice Enjoy
