If I update Writer, will I lose my AutoCorrect list and Dictionary?

I am a medical transcriptionist and use AutoCorrect to program shortcuts. Is there a way to back up my Dictionary and AutoCorrect list?

If you do not uninstall all will remain. The new installation is actually only an upgrade of the version running on your PC.

For safety reasons you can backup your user profile by saving it with a different name.

You find the path to your user profile Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Paths
