On Writer and Cal (at least) the text for instructions/procedures has become boxes. What I type is still words and readable but the side bar and items across the top are changed to boxes. Icons are still okay. but words such as “save as” “Print” etc are boxes. what happened? What can I do?
I did reboot to no effect.
And using xubuntu.
Do you have more than 1 Libo installation on your machine?
And, have you removed any fonts from your system since you installed LibreOffice?
Change the Language interface in Tools → Option → Language Settings → Language → User Interface to English US
