Vertical scrolling in LO Calc is much slower on Ubuntu than on Windows.

Hello.

Why is the Calc’s vertical scrolling speed in Ubuntu (or Linux) very much slower than in Windows 7?

In WIN7, I can scroll Calc’s sheet vertially smoothly, on time with the mouse wheel movement.
But in Ubuntu, I have to wait scrolling is completed whereas the mouse wheel scrolling has been finished already.

LibreOffice’s version is 4.3.5.2.
My hardware is HP Pavilion dm3 (Dual Boot: Ubuntu14.04/Windows7).

Please test if the options in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/Memory - Graphics cache and …/LibreOffice/View/Graphics output, can help.

Thank you mariosv,
I can see a bit of improvement of the scrolling speed when increasing Graphics cache, but still miserably slower than that of the default setting in WIN7, especially the sheet has a lot of data (thousands lines). Tweaking Graphics output gave me no improvement.
I feel this slowness might be come from old X-Winows system, or Windows version’s optimization is much better than Linux’s.
Best regards,

But… Linux just works…
