Is there any way to make the slide show setting "Mouse pointer visible" default on

In Impress, I would like the “Slide show setting” “Mouse pointer on” to default to checked. Is there any way to do so?

I run Mac OSX 10.7.5

You mean for every new document? I don’t think there’s a way to do that—I tried a template but it doesn’t seem to save that setting. But once changed in one document, it should stay that way for that document.

@LouS39 - I feel that your request is good one because it enables to leave the mouse pointer at a certain position on the slide while giving explanations.
May I propose you file an enhancement request here: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/

@Wildcard - How did you get the mouse pointer permanently on in at least a single presentation? I would be interested in learning this.

Slide Show → Slide Show Settings… → Check the “Mouse pointer visible” box.

I didn’t test if it works because I’ve actually never used Impress and I don’t have any slides to show, but the setting is there, at least.

@Wildcard = Thanks, it works!
