Definite Integrals. Putting limits on a square bracket

For the Maths course I am doing, we put the integral sign (long s) and the upper and lower limits of integration (let’s call them a and b) above and below, before the integrand.
I have no problem doing this in Libre. However, having evaluated the integrand we should put the result into square brackets [ ] again with the upper and lower limits, above and below the closing square bracket.

I can’t do this, I can put them on the integral sign but not on anything else. Does anybody know how please?

Left subscript and superscript to scalable brackets isn’t done by from {} to {}. Use lsub and lsup written behind the scalable object.
