I was using this bibliographic tool with LibreOffice up to 4.3.x with no problem. Having upgraded to 4.4, the EndNote CYWY plugin no longer works and the toolbar has disappeared. Attempting to reinstall it produces an error in the extension manager:-
Insert duplicate implementation name
vnd.ThomsonReuters.EndNoteCwyw.impl.NewDocListener
Has anyone else seen this and are there any ideas for fixing it?

As a remedy I personally would downgrade to 4.3.
Further to my original report I found a partial fix. If the add-in is visible in the extension manager after the upgrade (probably isnt), delete it and completely exit LO. As trying to add it from the extension manager did not work very well at all I went to the CYWY add-in (here C:\Program Files (x86)\EndNote X7\Product-Support\CWYW on my system) to run endnote.oxt and allow it to install. Here it all gets a bit weird. It probably wont install properly the first time round. I found that sometimes on different systems the menu appeared but was grayed out; appeared not grayed out but with no icons; appeared not grayed out but didnt work and the toolbar similarly might be all text (my toolbar setting is icons only), grayed out or not and sometimes appeared properly with icons. The trick to getting it to install more-or-less properly was to just to keep exiting LO, going back to endnote.oxt and reinstalling it. After 3 or 4 goes all appeared normal. It didnt survive a restart - the menu lost the icons and the toolbar reverted to text only but at least it worked!
