If I hide a large number of columns (like 50 columns), the horizontal scroll bar behaviour does not change. It spends some time and left to right movement tracking through all the hidden columns.
This might be a feature, but its not one I want. I want H Scroll to behave as if those columns do not exist.
Can I turn off this behaviour and instead have the scoll bar completely ignore the hidden columns when doing horizontal scrolling.
I made a test with LibO 4.3.5.2 at an XP machine and do not see the problem you describe.
In the test I created 3 times something like 30-60 hidden columns.
Clicking on the horizontal scrollbar, holding left button pressed and moved the horizontal scroll bar showed a behavior as if the hidden columns do not exist. The same I observed when clicking on-goingly on to the right or left side black triangle at the scroll bar. Also clicking into a cell and pressing the right and left button showed a completely normal behavior.
Question is now which LibO version and OS are you using?
