How Do I Remove "Recent" Documents from Mac's Dock

I’ve removed the “recent items” from other aspects of the application, but I can’t figure out how to remove the record of my recent files from the LibreOffice Dock icon on my Mac.

Running:
OS X 10.10.2
Libre 4.4.1

How can I clear this and/or prevent it from being populated?
Thanks!

Isn’t this a Mac OS topic?

I have no idea. I would have thought LO controlled what went into the LO Dock icon. But I could be wrong.

This is a very serious privacy and security flaw in LibreOffice for Mac. I keep a proprietary list of data for work that has to be kept encrypted. The decrypted document appears in the Mac Dock as a recent document and I am unable to delete the file from the recent documents in the Mac Dock even though I have already selected in Tools to remove the Recent Documents from showing in LibreOffice for Mac. This is such a serious privacy and security flaw that I uninstalled LibreOffice for Mac.
