Slideshow is slightly cropped when displayed externally

Hi,

I have a project to display images via impress onto a screen at a camera club.

When assembled and seen on a screen on a PC or a Laptop, there is no cropping. However when displayed on an external device, a full HD screen or a full HD projector at 1920 x 1080 there is slight cropping of the displayed image. As the fault is present on Both the projector and the TV and is also present either on the Laptop and the main PC, there is something else going on, but cannot find it.

Using latest impress (4.3.5.2) and on windows 7

Are there any suggestions as to where to look or where to change settings please ??

Thanks

Frequently televisions or projectors will change the aspect ratio of a picture to make it fit better into the screen. Check the instructions on your television or projector to see how to change the aspect ratio so that it displays the entire picture.

LInk to Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect_ratio_(image)#Visual_comparisons

The images are sized to the correct dimensions for 16:9 ie 1920 x 1080, so shouldn’t be touched at all, however the top edges are being cut off very slightly… The projector is a full HD beast also.

Is there are crop setting somewhere on the projector for “Full” “Zoom” “Wide” “Normal”? We have an Emerson display where the “Normal” setting is ever so slightly cropped, but the “Full” will display the computer desktop at the full 1920 x 1080.

Thanks will look at that, I am not the keeper of the projector, so cannot test directly, but will pass on the info to the Competitions Sec.
