Installed LibO via Launchpad ppa - Where are the installed versions?

kubuntu 14.04 64bit
Lib04.2 is installed as default version from the kubuntu repository.

I installed LibO 4.3 and 4.4 using the Launchpad ppa.

To do the Launchpad ppa installation I followed the advice of @rautamiekka What is wrong with my command to get LibO ppa installed? and got the for each LibO version the message that there are file available for update. I clicked twice “Install updates” and it seems that one version after the other was installed.

However, when I wanted to run LIbO 4.3 I could not find any folder indicating that there is LibO 4.3 inside; the same for LibO 4.4.

Questions:
1 - What did I make a mistake by installing 4.3 and 4.4 via the Launchpad parallel to 4.2?
2 - Where are the folders or soffice files located for the 4.3 and 4.4 version?

Installing in parallel doesn’t usually go that easily in Linux and that applies to LO, but you’re not completely in trouble, you just seemingly overwrote each version in succession by installing a newer version. See if https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux will be of use.

@rautamiekka - Ups, you are right. I just opened what I thought is my 4.2 version and what openend is 4.4, the last version installed.

I once did a manual installation with the help of @karolus, which creates for each version a separate folder, thus for parallel verions manual installations are needed.

Fortunately I saved an image of my root and boot partition which I will now play back. Then I am on 4.2 again, and all traces of 4.3 and 4.4 are gone; thereafter manual installations.
