I cannot find any information about the support of the Cyrillic alphabet in Writer.
Does Write support (Russian) Cyrillic characters?
Even when I paste text Windows Clipboard?

Yes, it does support Cyrillic or any other more or less known alphabet which belongs to Unicode character set. Just like any almost any other open source application around. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode
But please be aware that not all fonts have full Unicode coverage. Therefore you need to use fonts which have characters you need.
