Hi all,

I'm using impress with the TeXMaths extension to use latex on my slides.

In the Preferences for the TeXMaths extension, one can find thw following two lines:

% Uncomment this line for sans-serif font
%\everymath{\mathsf{\xdef\mysf{\mathgroup\the\mathgroup\relax}}\mysf}

Indeed, uncommenting the second line makes the fonts for math portion of TeXMaths elements to be Sans Serif. However, this does not change any text.

Please see the screenshot for an example (observe how the $q^m-1$ is sans serif, whereas the non-math text is not: image description

What I have tried so far is to put

\renewcommand{\familydefault}{\sfdefault}

in the TeXMaths preamble, but this didn't change anything.
