Hi. Going to Format > Page freezes Libre Office Writer for a few minutes (Edit: I timed it this time: 3 minutes 35 seconds). Is this a known bug? I’m using a decent computer (Microsoft Surface 3 pro) and CPU usage and memory usage is low during the freezing. So I have no idea what’s going on.
Edit: I have tried re-installing. Should be most recent version, downloaded yesterday.

Resetting the profile did not do anything.
If you’re working with a document that is saved in an older format, e.g. “.doc” it could be some old code/formatting that was embedded into the document that is causing the problem.
If you paste your document into notepad it will remove all the formatting. You can then paste it back into a blank LO document and save it. This worked for me.
