I have numbers within the column that are ### indicating the column is too narrow. However there are larger numbers that do appear in same column. When I start enlarging the columns I have to increase all of them and they spread across the page. I’ve reduced font to 8.
Could you give an example of a number that is hashed, a larger number that is appearing in the same column and their respective number formats.
This is one of those RTFM questions. The section that you probably need is:-
menu:- Format Cells Numbers tab (choose ‘Numbers’)
What you now need to read up on is the Format code codes (press the ‘Help’ button). It is the ‘#’ (hash) symbol that you are going to use, as it decides how many digits in the cell.
