Basic macro to ad two values

hi, this is literally my very first venture into macros and i know nothing. please help.

i need a button that can add together the values of two cells

lets say, A1=“5” and B1=“1” when the button is pressed it should calculate the two values (5+1) and update A1 to “6”

this is probably very basic, but i cant find any examples or tutorials explaining this
