In Windows 7, I can add a ‘word count’ column to the File Explorer that reports .DOC word counts (using the last updated count). It doesn’t work for .ODT files. I can view an .ODT’s file properties and see a word count, but it doesn’t show up in the word count column, nor can I find another suitable column. Any ideas on how to have Windows list an ODT file’s word count automatically?
The word count shows only up for .doc files. It does not show up for .docx or .odt.
So this is NOT a LO question but a windows question which should be directed to a Microsoft Site.
I will close this question for the above reason.
