install V 5.0 on mac wants to use installer.app from ZoneNow.info

I have previously installed versions 4.x.x of LibreOffice to Mac OS X 10.9.5 on Intel core2 Duo

The latest 5.0.x downloads a “MediaDownloader Installer” from ZoneNow.info
by MyMediaLtd.

I didn’t notice any mention of this.
Is this the new installation method?

Hi @dgerman,

I do not believe the official downloads from https://www.libreoffice.org/download reference or point any users to ‘ZoneNow’ or any .info domain.

  1. Are you sure that you’ve downloaded an official build of LibreOffice?
  2. Do you have any extensions installed? (It’s possible that an extension could reference a 3rd party domain…)
