Attempting to change the default font in LibreOffice 5.0.0.5 causes the program to crash

Pretty much what I mentioned in the subject above. Just installed LibreOffice 5.0.0.5 on a fresh install of Windows 10. I want to change the default font from Liberation Serif to… anything else. I follow the steps in Writer:

Tools > Options > LibreOffice Writer > Basic Fonts (Western).

As soon as I click Basic Fonts, the program crashes. I am not given any error messages, just the typical crash report and the option to recover my documents. I can change other things with the options, but just not the basic fonts. Is anyone else having this issue? I have not trying this in Calc, Draw, etc., so I can’t comment if this is an isolated event.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi theryanbreck

LO-5 on win10; bad choice at the moment.

LO-5 is from LibreOffice Fresh & as such may be buggy. You need to get used to using Bugzilla (or the Bug Assistant).

One alternative is to use LibreOffice Still (more stable, less exciting).
