There is a little paragraph mark preventing me from typing the last space on a line

I’m trying to line up the right margin of dates on a resume. There is a little paragraph mark on one line preventing me from typing the last space. These marks appear all along the right margin but this one is indented one space to the left and I can’t fix it. (These marks are different than the large paragraph marks)

I would copy the section of my document and paste it here to show you but obviously the paragraph mark doesn’t appear.

I tried re-tabbing it but that didn’t seem to work.

Can you edit to post an image?

When you go:-
(menu):ViewNon Printing Characters (Ctrl+F10)

…is it ON or OFF?

When you are faced with things like formatting lines of ordered information, you are probably better off adding a Table & using that to line stuff up
(menu):TableInsert Table... (Ctrl+F12)

You then place the table on the page as you want it, and format the text inside the table independent of the table’s page location. Much easier.

If this helps then please tick the answer (:heavy_check_mark:)

Thanks, Alex. I am switching between on and off in viewing non-printing characters. I’ve tried using tables before and was having a hard time. I guess I can try it again and also check youtube for some tutorials. Thanks again.
