How to make writer stop following field references when clicked

When I set a field reference in writer, it creates a hyperlink that goes directly to the target when clicked.

This is bad because if I click on it by accident it moves the cursor and there is no shortcut to come back to where I was before clicking it.

How to prevent that? Or at least, how to go back to the field location?

Here is a sample file that demonstrates my problem. Clicking on the fields moves the cursos directly to the referenced part (and you have no way to go back): cross-reference linking.odt

PS: Is there a way to remove a reference created with “Set Reference”?

The solutions could be to insert the bookmarks as hyperlinks.

Create the bookmark as usual.

Menu/Inser/Hyperllink [Ctrl+K]

Menu/Tools/LibreOffice/Security/Security Options and Warnings/Option - Ctrl-clikc required to follow hyperlinks,
doesn’t solve the situation.

This is not the case, the “hyperlink” I mentioned is the one created by field that cross-reference a reference/title/bookmark. Those fields when clicked go straight to the target.

Please could you share a sample file as minimal as possible. (Voted your question, so you can upload it here)

Done, I updated the question.

I’m not inserting bookmarks, I’m inserting cross-references to page numbers, hyperlinks don’t work in that case.

Looking in the help seems that the main difference is that bookmarks are respected exporting to HMTL while references not. Cross-references - LibreOffice Help

m.a.riosv, my problem is not related to HTML, bookmarks or references, but to the click to follow cross-references (in may case it is cross-references to titles, but the same problem occurs with any kind of reference).
