define a style for math overlines

Hey there,

i spent a good 30mins to find out how i can increase the spacing between a character and the overline symbol.
(for the record: open formula → format → spacing → use button to choose “symbols” category → enter new relative spacing)

In the dialog there is a button to make it default for all new formulas/equations, but is there also a way to define it into a style so i change it easier for all equations / formulas that have this style assigned?

thanks!

Hi aslmx

I do not see any connection between “Styles” & “Equations / Formula spacing”. I see just one option for you:- the Default button. Once you have it the way that you want it you can set it as the default. However, that then becomes a universal change for all future formulae.

If this helps then please tick the answer (:heavy_check_mark:)

…and/or show you like it with an uptick ()

Thanks for rescuing… hope someone can see it and answer!
